CHRISTIAN-ENDEAVOUR UNION.
Yesterday was "Juniors' Day" in connection with the eighteenth annual convention of the Wellington Provincial Christian Endeavour Union. At i p.m. a consecration service was held at the Webb Street Church, and at 5.45 p.m. tlio members of the society assembled at tea in the Kent Terrace Schoolroom. In the evening there was a grand junior demonstration in the Concert Chamber at the Town nail. There was an attendance of between five and six hundred. Mr. S.. H. Mndge, retiring president of tho union, acted as chairman, and delivered an introductory address. Afterwards vocal and other items were contributed by the various branches, whoso members were in attendance.- It was announced during the evening that tho Eggers Missionary Shield had been again won by the Wanganui Baptist Christian Endeavonr Society, which held it Inst year. The twenty-nine members of this junior society contributed an average of Us. H. each, during the year, in support" of missionary enterprise A message of greeting was read from the Australasian Superintendent of the Christian I'ndeavour Union.
