MASTERTON SHOW.
Not many breeders of stud stock can afford to be unrepresented at tho Masterton show, which is to bo held on the .Solway grounds on February 20 and 21. This is. tho convincing-ground for the great breeders of the Itominion. A man who cau appropriate a champion or other prizes at the Masterton show can claim a reputation as a breeder. It is hardly necessary to ray that this reputation means money in stock. From the reports to hand it would appear that this year's show at Masfertqii will eclipse ail previous efforts of this kind, for entries rre being received from every part. The shoep, horses, and cattle classes are filling exceptionally well, while the jumping competitions, for which splendid prizes are offered, will probably produce fine entries. Intending visitors need have no apprehension about accommodation. A post-card or a telegram to the secretary (Mr. J. E. Emmett) will fix that. Meanwhile, breeders should remember that entries close todny (Saturday, February 10).
