Menzaleh, 1711 tons, owned, by the Khedevial Hail Steamship and Graving Dock Company, was seized by the Italian protected cruiser Puglia in the Red Sea. The steamer was on her way to Hodeida, in Arabia, and had .£30,000 on board.
