RADIUM CURES.
STILL ONLY ON TRIAL. Bj Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrlrhl Melbourne, December 21. A report received by tho Government from leading hospitals is against tho purcbaso of a huge supply of radium. Tho report states that the mineral is only on trial; its curative powers have not been proved in the case of any deeprooted disease. Tho report suggests ob-' taining n thousand pounds' worth as an experiment.
