The Grand Master of tho Manchester Unity of Oddfellows taid if the order became an approved society under the National Insurance Bill, ho believed tho result would be a prosperous future. The chairman of the National Deposit Society, while preferring tho socioty to be left unfettered, said tho Insurance Act was as good as they could expect under the circumstances. DOCTORS URGED TO STRIKE. (Roc. December 18, 10.5 p.m.) London, December 18. The Scottish Committee of tho Medical Association has recommended members not to accept service under the Insurance Bill unless tho demands of the medieai associations are conceded.
