MURDERED IN A MOTOR.
« — CHICAGO WOMAN SHOT DEAD. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. December 12, 11.40 p.m.) New York, December 12. Mrs. Kaufman, wife of a wealthy commission agent, was murdered as she was motoring home from a Chicago theatre in company with her husband. Tho chauffeur of the car confessed that ho was aware that the party was to be held up, and says the woman was shot because she screamed.
