Hans rienUch, a school master at Grisoue, in a fit of madness, resolved to exterminate his family. Ho journoyed fifty miles and killed his mother and a sister; then he relumed homo and shot his father. Two days.later ho killed another sister, and seriously wounded a third. Finally ho committed suicide, leaving a letter stating that tho deeds had boon done with full cognisance of their nature.
