ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A FATAL PALE. Yesterday, Dr. M'Arthur, S.M., held an inquest concerning the death of Patrick Koegan, who was found at the bottom of a ladder at tho gasworks on Sunday morning. Deceased was emplovi t £• , w ,°, rks - aS(I . when last seen before his fall, had been cleaning out a pipe, and, for that purpose, was standing on some stanchions about eleven feet above tho floor. Later he was found lymg unconscious, and was taken to the hospital. Dr. Hardivicto Smith gave evidence that death had been caused bv an extensive.fracture of the base of tho f *3l l and '. Shoebon was admitted to tho hospital last evening suffering from several cuts on tho head sustained by a fall in the street.
