MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

. OVER. A MOTOR-CAR, (Before Dr. M'Arthur, S.M.) A claim for £W 15s. 7d. was made by Thomas Ingiis (Inglis liros.) against Herbert C. Faulke, surgeon. Tho claim was stated to bo for goods sold and work done to defendant's motor-ear. The defendant disputed the quality.of the workmanship and the reasonableness of the timo taken over tho work.

Some- evidence was heard and the cass was then adjourned till this morning.

Wm. Wilson was ordered to pay Blake and Carlisle .t'B 15s. by December 19.

Thomas Gordon was ordered to pay Catherine Breeze Bs. by January 8.

P. Eastergard was ordered to nay Isidore Jacobus £5 Bs. in weekly amounts of s=.

SHARE IN FURNITURE. Judgment was delivered in the e.?.se of Charles W. I'hillins v. Edgar Ka:n, a claim for '£30. ar. amount allewd to have been agiv«d upon by plaintiff and defendant for the purchase of plaintiff's share of certain furniture.

The decision was in favour of the plaintiff for the amount claimed.

POLICE CASES, For insobriety, Edith Home was fined ss.

Patrick Beattio was fined £i for having used improper lanprauge. John William Collins was fined .£3 for having assaulted Laurence John Crawford.
