Gray, Principal of the oolloiro, who mis been appointed principal ol' tho Presbyterian Ladies' College at Melbourne, was farowellwl by the stndents. At tho lormal ceremony in the morning Mr. Robert Leo, chairman of tho WeJlineton Jiducation Board, presidod, and there wore also present Professor T. A. Hunter, chairman uf tho Professorial Roard at Victoria Col. lege, and Proftwor J. RanUine-llrowu, Chairman of Classics; Dr. Awkrcon, Assistant 1 nspcctor-Goneral Schools; Mr. J. G. W. Aitkin, member; Mr. I'. H. llakewoll, inspector; aiwl Mr. G, L. SUiwnrt, secretary of tho Wellington huucation Hoard.
