Vcitch, Labour candidate for tbo Wangaaui Boat, and expresident of tho Amulgaamtcd Socicty of Railway Servants, said lio had instructed his solicitors to issue a writ, claiming ,£5Ol damages from Mr. Martin Lee for alleged Blander, lie said Mr. Leo had charged him with taking six days' travelling expenses to which ho was not entitled. Mr. Vcitch further offered to give .£IOO to tho Wanpanui Hc-spital if it could be proved that he »ad vrongly taken ono penny of tho society's funds.
