Tho figures sliow a i-c-markable increase, being; almost fifty por cent, in advanro of those of Inst year, all classes participatinj; in the sain. In horses thore arc 63G entries, against -451 last year, this number including lSii entries in various eomrKiitions. Cattle aro 241 against 189, and sheep 323 against 218. Tho do? section shows a really wonderful total. Last year the entries were 1132, which was then said to be an Australasian record, but this total is now eclipsed by a list of 1250 entries, the pick of the New Zealand canine world being represented.
