On the motion of Mr. J. W. Macdonold the Supreme Court has granted to the Public Trustee probate of the wills.of the undermentioned deceased persons:— Henry Mellett, late of Kelson, cab proprietor; Joseph Taylor, lato of Swanson, orchardist; Richard Jeffares, lale of Taradale, drover; Ellen Davies, late of Hereford, England, spinster. Administration was obtained from the Court in respect of the estates of the following deceased persons:—George Cocker, late of Wellington, cordial manufacturer (de bonis non with will annexed); James Eodgcr, lato of Hangatiki, farmer; Samuel Everard Knott, late ol Cheviot, farmer; Gavin Todd, late of Rissington, contractor; Morgan Hardy, late of Kuniara, miner; Benjamin Craig, lalo of Sunnyside, settler; Martha Beesly, late of Parnell, domestic duties; Edward Michael Scanlon, late of Foxton, labourer; Charles Howes, late of Palmerston North, married woman; John Witheridge, lato of Avondale, overseer; John Leo ; K.ay, late of Atawhai, carpenter; Archibald M'Cormack, late of Winton, carrier. . The Court directed a sale of realty in the estates of the following-.—Martha Parsons, late of Ocean Beach, widow; Philip le Montais Gruchy, late of Napier, accountant; Alexander M'Kenzie, late of South Dunedin, retired Civil Servant.
