UPPER HUTT CLUB. On Saturday the Upper Hutt Rifle Club opened its season with a competition. Rifleman A. Allan was top-scorer wit'h 91, under tricky conditions. In tho third stage of the shooting for the King's Prize at tho Victorian Rifle Association meeting. James, Plimmer, Bellamoro, and Given, all of Now Zealand, won .£1 each. In the Templeton Match Preston won £2 and Loveday and James .£1 each. In the King's Prize aggregate, .lames won .£1; Plimmer and Prank, .£3; Given, ,£2; Loveday, Preston, Bellamore, and Collis, .£l. In tho David Syme championship aggregate, James was fifth, winning ,£ls; Plimmer, Given, Preston, Loveday, J;2; Morgan and Frank, ,£l. In tho Sargood match, Plimmer was fourth, and won ,£G: James won ,£2;' and llobbs and Given .£1 each.
