ATTEMPTED TRAIN-WRECKING
DISASTER AVERTED. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, October 29. An attempt was made to wreck tho Santa Fo express at Colton, California. A tio had been placed on tho lino' whoro it crossed a bridge, but tho train passed over safely. Another attompt was made at Edwards, California, where a quantity of dynnmito had been placed on tho railway. Several passenger trains passed safely, tho al> senco of proper caps preventing an explosion.
