CHAMPIONSHIP WON BY BOYS' BAND. Br TcleßTapVi—Prcas Association—Oopyrleht Melbourne, October 30. At tho Ballarat Band Contest, Saint Augustine's Orphanago Boys' Band won tlio A grado competition and Australasian championship. A remarkable fcaturo of tho band is that tho averago ago of the players is fourteen years. Tho youngest member of tho band is eleven years and tbo oldost twenty-one. Roselle Band (Sydney) was second.
