IN LONDON AND HERB. A return kid before Parliament on the motion of Jlr. Russell, shows the wholesale value in London of food products exported from the Dominion during the months of May, June, and July, 1911, and the retail values of (ho same, products ill the Dominion during the same months. The comparison shows that iu nearly every case the wholesale prices in London wero considerably lower. Following are the London pricce, the Dominion retail prices being shown in parentheses:—Mutton: May, 2[d. to li*d. per lb.; June, UJd. to per lb.; July, 3.1 d. to itl per lb.
