THE NEW RAILWAY STATION. Mr. Luke has notified that be will ask the Minister for Railways whether provision is being mado in this year's supplementary estimates for the commencement of the proposed now railway station for Wellington, and whether tho Minister, pending the completion of the proposed new railway station, will take the necessary steps iorthwith to enable the trains conveying tho suburban traffic on th,a Manawatu lino to bo dispatched from and to arrive at the Lajiibton Station. Mr. Luko also asks the Minister to give effect to the requests that have repeatedly been urged ou him, that the extension of tho suburban area as to fares should a.ppjy to Tawa Flat and Porirua.
