ITALIAN CASUALTIES. ARABS TERRIFIED BY AEROPLANES. By Telcffraph—Press Association—Copyright Romo, October 25. Tho Italians lost six killed and twentysix wounded in an attack on Tripoli on Monday. Twenty-five Arab horsemen mado a fierce onslaught, hurling themselves at tho Italian line. Tho Italians, after a heavy fire, broke tho charge of the enemy, who withdrew after much loss. It is officially announced tliat the Italian loss at Benghazi was 109 killed and wounded. Hundreds of Arabs were arrested after Monday's battlo for treacherously firing on the Italians from the rear. Those who wero seen firing wero shot. A decree has been issued fixing death as tho penalty for Arabs found carrying arms. By direction of a court-martial, a kavass at the German Consulate was publicly shot for stabbing and wounding an Italian soldier. Airmen attached to the Italian forces aeroplanod a distance of 35 miles inland. Several thousand Arabs were observed. Tho aeroplanes terrified tho Arabs. Many buried their valuables. Tho relighting of tho Italian lights in the Red Sea has been ordered. TURKISH ARMY PAY STOLEN. Constantinople, OctobeT 25. An armed band at Elbasan attacked tho Monastir-Skutari postal caravan, and stole •£2-1,300 sterling intended for payment of the troops.
