By direction of a court-martial, a kavass at the German Consulate was publicly shot for stabbing and wounding an Italian soldier. Airmen attached to the Italian forces aeroplanod a distance of 35 miles inland. Several thousand Arabs were observed. Tho aeroplanes terrified tho Arabs. Many buried their valuables. Tho relighting of tho Italian lights in the Red Sea has been ordered. TURKISH ARMY PAY STOLEN. Constantinople, OctobeT 25. An armed band at Elbasan attacked tho Monastir-Skutari postal caravan, and stole •£2-1,300 sterling intended for payment of the troops.
