HUTT SEAT.

Mr. J. W. M'Ewan, Independent Opposition candidate for the Hutt electorate, addressed a very good meeting at St. James's Hall, Lower Hutt, last night. Mr. M'Ewan practically traversed the ground of his Fetone meeting, and after answering a number of questions, was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.

Mr. W. H. D. Bell, Opposition candidate for Wellington Suburbs and Country Districts electorate, invites electors to meet him at 8 o'clock this evening at St. Hilda's Churchrcom, Island Bay.

Mrs. Newman invites the ladies of Hoseneat h and district to meet her at. the schoolroom, Roseneatli, on Thursday afternoon next at 3.15 o'clock. Jlr. C. A. W. Monckton, Reform candidate for the Otaki electorate, will deliver an address at Tokomam at S o'clock this evening. Mr. J. W. M'Ewan will address the electors of Upper llutt at tile lucai hall at S o'clock this evening. Mr. Byron Brown will address the Otaki electors at Muhunoa East at 8 o'clock this evening. The address will be given in the schoolhouse. ; Dr. A. Iv. Newman, Reform candidato for Parliament, will address the doctors of Wellington^East at the llatailai Bowling Club Pavilion at S o'clock this evening.
