(Specially written for The Dohixios.) TUESDAY. Lentil Soup. Grilled Chops. Potato Chips. Cabbage, Patriotic Pudding. PATRIOTIC PUDDING. 4oz. flour, 1 tenspoonful b.ikinij powilov, 2oz. butter, 3 biblespeonfuls goldpn syrup, 2oz. sugar, pincli of salt, I egg, i* pint Sift tho (lour, baking powder, and salt iato a basin, rub in the butter, and add tho sugar. Beat up the ess, add the milk, and stir the<e to the dry ingredient?. Butter a pudding basin, pour jn the golden syrup, coat the basin with it, and put in the pudding mixture. Cover with a greased pnpsr, and steam two hours. Turn out the pudding, and servo. FOR TO-MORROW. Leg of Mutton. Cauliflower. Prunes. Rioe. Onions. Chee.vo.
