TAVIUNI COLLISION.
MASTER'S CERTIFICATE SUSPENDED. By Tcleeraph-Press Association-Oopyrleht (Rec. October IG, 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, October 16. The Marine Court has found that the recent collision in the harbour between the Taviuni, of the Union line, and the Alossageriea Alaritimes steamer Nora, was caused by Captain Brighton, master of the Taviuni, failing t& keep his steamer on its proper course. Captain Beighton's record shovr<d that during tho eighteen years he had been at sea, he had uever previously had an accident. Judge Murray, in suspending his certificate for six months from tho date of the collision, said tho Court was sorry to havo to deal with the certificate oi a master who had hitherto managed his ship without accident.
