WRECK OF THE MACLEAY.
CAPTAIN UPBRAIDS THE MATE. ByTelograph-Prc-aa Association—Conyright Sydney, October 16. At the inquest on tho bodies of threo of the victims of the wreck of tho coastal steamer Macleay, Petersen, ono of the rescued seamen, and who was at tho wheol at the time, gavo evidence as to the chief officer changing tho course set by the captain. Tho steamer shortly afterwards struck. Tho captain ordered the lifeboat out, and rockets wero got ready. Ho was trying to get tho vessel ronnd to beach her when sho sank. When the chief officer told tho captain the course he had been steering, the captain replied, "Oh, you murderer!" RELICS OF THREE DISASTERS. Sydney, Octobor 16. Amongst the wreckage picked up in tho vicinity of the Macleay disaster, is a quantity from the missing steamer Rosedale, and a name board of the overdue Peruvian barquo lnca.
