ARTS EXHIBITION.
The attendances at tho annual cxhibitionof tho New Zeahnd Academy of Finn Arts at tho gallory in Whitmoro Street continue, to he satisfactory, nn<l it is anticipated that this will prove a record vcot as regards tho takings. The Academy possesses a grand piano, and, in the old days, musical eveninprs used to bo frequent at tho exhibitions. On Saturday eveuins a musical programme, was giive.n liy Miss Gere, Miss Bertha Miles, ami Messrs. Sandstoin ami NorUicoto. Tho acoustic proportios of tho ha.ll aiv excellent, and the items were very much appreciated. Music will ho provided again on Wednesday and Saturday next, nml thcw will bo 110 extra charge for admicsion.
