DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIP. At a moating of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association plans of the courts at Lancaster I'ark, Christchurcli, which it is proposed to use for the New Zealand championship?, 1911, to bo held on December 23, 2G, 27. and 28 next, wore considered, and the rite ,-ot npari for the courts was approved. The courts arc being prepared on that part of Lancaster Park immediately adjoining the Davis Cup courts. The programme of eyonts has been drawn up, and will l)C circulated this week. The annual report, and accounts will also be availablo in a few day?. The annual meeting takes place at the end of this month. Thero is every prospect that the invitation to tho Australasian Association to send a team of six Australian ladies to play a match in Wellington, either before or afteT the Davis Cup contests, will be accepted. The Management Committee has undertaken to provide accommodation ill Wellington for the ladies of the team during their stay in Wellington. A sub-committee has been ret. up to ascertain wh.'it New Zealand players will bo available to accept an invitation from the Philippine Curniv.nl Committee for a visit of not more than three of Australasia's best players. Tho Carnival Committes offers to provide travelling expenses and accommodation, and undertakes to give the representatives a very good time. The Canterbury Association has heen requested to ielect three nominees who would be willing to act with tho Management Committee in connection with this year's New Zealand championships.
