$ SOME SHOW ENTRIES. (From Our Special Correspondent.! Palmerston, October 14. The new Town Hall at Foxton is to bo opened on Wednesday evening with an entertainment. The first part of the programme v.ill be given by ralmcrston vocalists, organised by Mr. J. Bott. Moving pictures will follow. Entries for the following sections for the Jlanawatu A. and P. Show havo been made up as follow:—Homo industries, 9/3; art and fancy work, 18!); photography, 69; Technical School and Art Classes, 63; public schools' work, 551. These sections were closed earlier than tho live stock divisions. A grand bazaar, in aid of St. Patrick's parish funds, is to bo opened by tho Mayor on October 30. Some little excitement was occasioned in Cuba Street this afternoon through a horse in a baker's cart bolting, and colliding with another vehicle. Both vehicles were capsized, and a good deal of damago was done to the harness.
