PRISONER RE-TAKEN.
» AFTER NINE MONTHS' LIBERTY. (By Telocranh—Press Association.) Dunedin, October 15. Alexander Walquist, who escapcd from custody <m January 2-4 while being brought to Dunedin from Oamaru to bo tried on a chaJTge of robbery, was recaptured near Middlcmarch yesterday. In the interval Walquist had made fleeting appearances in various districts in Central Otago, but the police had been -unable to catch him.
