FLOODS IN AMERICA.
LARGE AREA INUNDATED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Denver, October 10. The south-western districts of Colorado and North-Western Mexico have been swept by floods. As the telephone and telegraph services have been crippled, and three hundred miles of railway have been put out of commission, only meagre reports are being received from the flood-swept districts. There are rumours of heavy loss of life, but no verified list is available.
