Messrs. Dalgoty and Company, Limited, report:—Wo hold our fortnightly Bale of wool, skills, hides, and tallow yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendanco of buyers, and competition was animated for all lines except salted skins, which were dull of sale. Prices all round were on a par with last 6ale rates. Wool: Crossbred dead, 63d. to 73d.; crossbred inferior, Sd. to 6Jd.; crutohings, 4Jd. to 6d.; pieces and looks, 4d. to 5d.; washed pieces, lid; to 53d. Sheepskins: Half bred, 71d. ; crossbred medium, 5Jd. to 6Jd.; crossbred, half-wool, 43d. to Sid.: crossbred broken and damaged, 33d. to 5d.; lambs, 6d.; pelts, Id. to 3d. j crossbred damp, 4s. to 6s. Sα.; crossbred salted, 3s. 2d. to <te. 9d. Wool: The market easier, owing to lower tendency in oversea markets. Medium crossbred, 7d. to 7Jd-; inferior crossbred, 6Jd. to Vd.; pieces and bellies, 4!d. to 5d.; looks, 3d. to 4d. Skins: naif bred and line crossbreds, 6Jd. to 7d.; medium and coarse crossbreds, 6d. to 6id.; dead skins, sd. to sid.; dead hoggets, sd. to 61d.; Quarter to half-Wools, 4d. to 5d.; dry pelts, 7d. to is.; green skins, <a. 6d. to 7e. 6d. Prices were on a. par with last sale's rates. Wool: Only bag lots were offered. Dead wool, 6Jd. to 63d.; cnitchings, 4Jd. Skins: Medium crossbreds, 6Jd.; coarse, 65 d.; dead, sid. to 5Jd.; damaged, 4Jd. to 5d.; butchers' half-dry and green, heavy, 6s. 3d. to 6s. 9d.; medium, 6s. 4d. to 6s. Id.; light, 4s. lOd. to sb. Id.; spring lambs, 6d. to Bd. Hides: Heavy hides showed a decline of id. per lb., while others were on a par with last sales rates. Buyers woro well represented, and prices were firm for wool and hides, but, if anything, a shado weaker for skins. Wool: Crutellings medium, sd. to 5Jd.; dead wool, coarse and heavy. 63d.: stained pieces, 3»d. to 33d.; lambs' wool seedy, 7d. Sheepskins: Crossbred medium, 6d. to 6Jd.; crossbred coarse. 5Jd. to 6d.: crossbred 6hort, 4d. to 5Jd-i dead. 43d. to s*d.: pelts, damaged and faulty, l?d. to 31d. Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., report:—Wo offered ten bales of wool. 4COO sheepskins, 665 hidos and calfskins. - Prices were on tho eamo level as last sale, with an occasional drop of one farthing per lb. in coarso crossbred skins, while hides were considerably firmer, and showed an advance of an eighth of a penny all round. Wool: Crossbred fleece, 6Jd. to 7id. per lb.; crutchings. 4sd. to 5Jd.
