PALMERSTON DAY BY DAY.
(By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston N., September 25. F.dsar Smith, n boy working on a farm al Olen Oroua, was admitted lo the Palmerston Hospital yesterday suffering from a broken' leg sustained through a kick from a horse. The Palmerst'on Homing Club held a novice race from Wellington on Saturday, t'he event being won bv Mr. G. Gardner's bird (lhr. ffimin.). 'I'he air-line was 77 miles.
