THE LODGES.
Quite a successful gathering was Friday s session of the Eclipse Lodge of Goad Templars. Bro. G. Harris, P.C.T., presided. One member was readmitted. Bro. Rhodes was reported ill in hospital, and members undertook to endeavour to visit him. An invitation to the Star of \\ cllington Lodge on Thursdav next was accepted. Grand Lodge odico'rs and Adv',sor.v Board, and district officers were officially welcomed, llro. Pethcrick, Grand Secretary, occupying the chair. After an interesting short, address bv that officer, tho item "Sisters' Market Night" was carried out. The baskets wore auctioned by Bro. Millan, and realised 17s. 2d. Judging, from the contents, which were afterwards sampled, it was indeed a cheap sale. Items were rendered bv Bros. Shaw and Roberts, and greetings were received from Main Reef Lodge, Johannesburg, anr reciprocated. Votes of thanks were passed to the sisters and visitors. Next meetins is entitled "Mail Bag Competitions."
