The authorities were prepared for any acts of hooliganism, and lh? presence of Sergeant Rogers, of the Onehunga police, with six constables, seemed To overawe the crowd. There was some caterwauling, hooting, and coiinter-chror-in:{, but the night went on without further incident, and 120 youths were parsed bv the doctors.
