FEILDING ITEMS.
- o Mr. A. H. Simpson, secretary of the Feilding Egg Circle, reports that last month he received and despatched to Wellington over 1000 dozen eggs. New meinbors are joining the circle every week. Tho following officers wero 'clected at tho annual meeting of the Colyton Cricket Club:—Patron, 31r. J. H. Ashworth; president, Mr. W. Power; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. M. D. Roberts, S. Gray, S. Shepherd, T. B. Peddie, F. AValdin, H. Hocken, \V. G. Pearce, A. J. Gibson, T. A. Smith, G. Day, T. Shortall, R. Shortfall, J. Russell, S. Standen, W.. Mitchell, \V. Adsett, W. E. L. Banks, J, Micliie, and W. Joughin; secretary, Mr. 11. M. Shand; captain, Mr. C. Millen; committee, Messrs. J. Shortall, C. Millen, H. Shepherd, T. W. Allerby, H. Garlick, W. Power, and H. Shand;-delegates to the association, Messrs. G. Day and W. Power; Selection Committee, Messrs. C. Millen, W. Power, and H. Shaiul. It has been decided to protest against the motion passed by the Rangitikei County Council favouring the alteration of the name of the Manawatu electorate to Rangitikei.
