DISORDERLY POLITICS. NEW SOUTH WALES SPEAKER DEFIED. A DISPUTED ELECTION. By Telegraph—Press Association— Cooyright (Bsc. August 29, 11.5 p.m.) Sydney, August 29. When Parliament met to-day several members of tho Opposition, in pursuance of their threat to defy the Speaker in order to test the validity of his election, remained seated when tho Speaker (Mr. Willis) entered and the other members rose. Mr. Wade, Leader of the Opposition, drew attention to the report of the recent debate in Uansard.

The Speaker immediately ordered him to resume his s.'at.

Mr. Terry, ex-Minister for Agriculture, angrily lelt the Chamber, calling on loyal members to follow him.

As Mr. Perry did not bow to tho Speaker, the sergeant-at-arms was directed by Mr. Willis to bring him back. Mr. Wood, ex-Chief Secretary, defied tho Speaker, and was removed, amid a scone of violent disorder. Shortly after this Mr. Fitzpatnck was ordered to withdraw a statement and apologise to the Speaker. Mr. Fitzpatrick said, "I will withdraw if I must, and will make an apology if my statement needs one."

Mr. Willis promptly called on the sergeant-at-arms to remove tho member, which was done amidst further uproar.

Sydney, August 29. It is expected that after tbo Legislative Assembly has disposed of the motion by Mr. Cohen, Mr.- Wado (Leader of tho Opposition) will movo an amendment to tho Addrcss-in-Reply aiming at a dissolution.
