FARMERS' DAIRY UNION.
ANNUAL MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, August 28. There, was a good attendance at the annual meeting of tho New Zealand Farmers' Dairy Union this afternoon. Mr. T. Parsons (chairman of directors) presided. In movi.ig tho adoption of tho report and balance-sheet,- the chairman pointed out that tho union had strengthened its position very materially) and the coming year 'promised to be tho rntet prosperous which it hod experienced. Other speakers expressed themselves in equally hopeful terms, and tho motion to adopt tho report was then carried. Messrs. D. Buiek, M.P., and J. R. White were re-elected directors without opposition, and Mr. Wilberforcc was reappointed auditor.
