STOCK IMPORTATIONS.
HORSES AND SHEEP. The New Zealand Loan and . Mercantile. Agency Co., Ltd., report that tlicv have received, per s.s.' Kiinpeim,. from London, on account of Mr. J. Dollar, of Blenheim, two Clydesdale stallions. Both horses were bred by the celebrated breeder, Mr. Ridi.'ell, of Blackball, Renfrewshire, Scotland. They are tine, big animate, dark in colour, and cf the choicest breeding, having a double strain of the. famous "Darnley" and "Prince of Wales" blocd. Both animals- arrived in fine condition, considering tho rough pasvago experienced on the way out. Mr. J. C.' N. Giigg, of Longbeach, who is at present in England, lias purchased two Shire colts and jome rains and owe*, which are to be shipped to New Zealand next month. The Shires ,ito bay colts. One is named Boro Enterprise-, sire Dunsmoro Commander, dam Intake Princess bv Lockiugo Albert, bred by Mr. Griffin. Boro Enterprise took third prize in its class, .while his sire, Dunsnioro Commandor, was taken by Louth for this season at a premium of 500 guineas. Tho other is Hip hay chit, Boro Menostrei Bov, siro Norlmrv Menestrcl, dam Peal: Like, by Childwick Harold, bred by Mr. R. W. Green. This colt was commended. Mr. Origg's sheep purchases are:—One four-tooth champion ram at the Norwich' Royal Show, bred by Mr.' Adean; five two-tooth ewes, and one two-tooth ram from the Coleman Hock, which was first as a hogget, beating this year's champion at the Royal Show. This ram is by the same sire as tho ■ champion tarn.
