« ALLEGED ELECTION SLANDER. By Telcjraph—Press Assbciation—Copyright Cape Town, August 25. Tho hearing of a slander action at Bloemfontein against General Ilortzog, Union Minister for Justice, by Mr. Eraser, a dismissed school inspector, is arousing interest. Tho caso arose out of an election speech in 1910, in connection with Mr. Ilertzog's Education Act. The claim is for £1000 damages.'
