FOR "REFRESHER" COURSES.
»— OFFICERS GOING TO INDIA. Captain P. Symon (Wellington), C<n» lain 1!. B. Sinytho (Auckland), of the Royal New Zealand Artillery, and Captain 11. 1?. Potter, New Zealand Staff Corps (Auckland), have been selected for "refresher" training iu India. Captains Symon and Sinytho will bo attached for artillery training, and Captain Potter to an infantry regiment. The selection of these officers for n course of instruction with Imperial troops is in pursuance of tho policy adopted by the Defenco Authorities that deserving officers of tho New Zealand Forces shall from timo to time be given opportunities of brushingup their military knowledge. There are three wavs open for such officers: Qualification lsv examination for admission to tho staff colleges at Cambovley (England), and Quetta (India); interchanges of other's between tho Imperial and ovcrsiji forces, and selection for "refresher courses in the Imperial Army.
