HARRIERS.

Favoured with ideal weather, the Wellington and Brooklyn Harriers held a, combined run at Rona Bay on Saturday afternoon, 21 members taking part. L. Salek and R. Reid (Wellington Club), and E. Vango (Brooklyn) were told off to lay a trail. The course was from Wise's tea-rooms, over the hills through heavy bush, into Day's Bay, along tho road for about two miles, and then back to the starting point. The rur.-in was held over the last three-quarters of a mile, and resulted as follows:—C. Murray and F. Bvrne gained the first two places, with W. Press and F. Pinkuey finishing in that order. Next Saturday the Wellington Club will bold their annual ten-milo inter-club event nt Miramar. Good entries have been received, including three Otago men. The Brooklyn Club also run from Miramar. Jlr. G. A. Scott has declared the following handicaps for the Brooklyn Harriers' (Wednesday section) one milo and a half novice race, which is to be held Jit Miramar on Wednesday next:— J. T. M'Davitt, scr.; C. Brown, 20sec; E. Vanco, Msec; C. Uphani, -lOsec; C. Rough. 45sec; S. Myers, (Msec; L. H. Scott, SOsec.
