Since, tho beginning of July shipments . of tho cow season's butter have < been made, says tho "Australasian." Lust year -no fresh buffer was exported until August 1, when 25 tons was sent away. Up to July 15, this year. 75 tons had been exported to South Africa. , Gl to London, n.:id 2V to Eastern ports; while it is expected that regular shipment;-, which havo alreSdy begun, will be made to New Zealand. The superintendent of exports Oil , . K. Crowe)' stated n fortnight ago that prospects had never been niore promising than at present. I'astures were further, forward thin usual at. this time of the year, mid there was a good deal of winter fodder available; while cattle--1 verc in pood condition. Prices were also exceedingly satisfactory.
