A WONDERFUL FODDER PLANT
A. Victorian fa.rmer describes-Chou Mollier (or marrow grass, th* French cow fcdilor) as the most wonderful fodder plaut no has ever seen or grown. He has had it giow ten feet high, and all kinds of stock rat it with keea relish. As it (,'i-ows the leaves can bo pulled'oft' awl tlio stalks stored away for future use. It does not taint the butter, and the milk supply is very rich ami abundant. Two crops in the year can bo grown, and tho plant is not affected by frosts. An exhibit of the above fodder is being made at the presutit Duncdin Show by the Agricultural Department. Tho fodder is shown standing 6ft. Gin. high. It provides several strippings of the foliago in a season, ami may bo chaffed and fed in that way ; with oaten chaff or other foods. It is stated to bo frost and drought resistant. '
