Sir Henry Butlin, President of the Koyal College of Surgeons, speaking at tho meeting of the International Dental Federation, said cancer on the tongue rarely attacked a person free from lonkoplakia, of which the predisposing causes were rheumatism and gout, and an eiciting cause was tobacco.
