COURSING.
The Wellington Metropolitan Conrsing Club held a meeting at IVallnccvilie on Saturday. The coursing was excellent, and tiiero was a fair attendance of the public. The hares wero 'very rac.v, and iu courso after courso easily beat the clogs. During tho day t.horo worn only three kill?. A. great heal: was witnessed in the final of the Burke Stakes, Mr. John lliggins's Raffles narrowly defeating Mr. John Brosnan's Exhibition Cup winner, Kilfilcn. The Winter Stakes was annexed bv Headlight, and Tara. Mr. Parsons was judge, and Mr. P. H. Donoghue earno in for warm praiss for the able way he slipped the dogs. Tho tecretary (Mr,
