BOWLS.

KELBURNE CLUB. ] The first anuual meeting of the Kel-! burne Club,' Ltd., was held oji Friday. Mr. J. C. Williamson presided, and there were about twenty shareholders present. The directors! annual report which appeared in last Tuesday's Dominion was adopted. It was decided to institute a honse-to-houso canvass to endeavour to increase tho memhership from sixty to ninety. The secretary considered that ninety members were necessary. Messrs. J. G. Bawson, E. C. Gannaway, and R. E. Manley retired from the directorate, and the vacancies were filled by the re-election of Messrs. Jlanley and Gannaway, and the election of Mr. W. Drury. " Mr. Alexander Johnston was elected president. Por the work he had dono for tho club, M. J. C. Williamson, the retiring president, was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. Mr. E. C. Gannaway was re-clccted vice-president. Mr. C. A. Marquis was re-elected secretary and elccted treasurer. Mr. R. W. M'Villy was ro-elected honorary auditor. Tho delegate to the Northern Bowling Association is to be Mr, A. W. Blafichard, and the delcgatos to the Wellington Centre, Messrs. A. Johnston and C. A. Marquis. [ During the evening the prizes won during tho year woro presented. The prize-winners are indicated in the foliotv- ! ing from the directors' ropiprlMr. M. I lloutley was for a second time tho successful competitor for the Dinnie Chalj letige Cup, which also carried with it. tho championship of tho club. Mr. T. Gray was tho runuer-up. The President's lJowls were won by Mr. ,T. C. Williamson. Mr. I). Millar, the runner-up, also wins a pair of bowls. The Vice-President's Bowls (junior) were won by .Mr. A. Scott with Mr. I'. M'Coll second. Messrs. Kuowles and A. Johnston won tho trophies presented by Messrs. E. W. Mills and Co. and Mr. E. S. Baldwin.
