Uy Telecraph— Press association—Copyrieht London, July 28. Frank Wootton, the Australian "jockey, rode four winners at Goodwood to-day. JULIAN APPEAL CASE. (By Telezraph--Pres3 Association.) Wanganui, July 29. The steward; of tho Wanganui Jockey Club met last night to rehear the Julian case. At the last winter meeting Julian iras disqualified for twelve months, on the charge of wilfully pulling the horse Nappor in the Kaitoke Hack Hurdles. Julian appealed, and tho judges referred the matter back to the committee, to enablo tho jockey to be heard himself and to call evidence in his defence. The taking of evidence occupied over four hours, when the committee adjourned until Wednesday afternoon, when the matter will be threshed out.
