The Mangawcka Town Board submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds accrued to April 29.—The beard approved the proposal. . The l'otbne Borough Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds ac crued. Subject to investigation by the ranger, the board approved the proposals. The Waitotara Momahaki Road Board "submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds accrued. Subject to investigation by the ranger, the board approved the proposals. OTHER MATTERS. Mr. Gcorco Payne wrote with reference , to the timber royalty payable for timber cut on Section 1, Block V, Wainuioru, Lougburn Settlement. i Mr: 0. F. Tarrant, lessee of Scction 12, : Block XIII, Horopito, West Township, , wrote that, owing to slackness in tho sawmill (trade, ho may liave to leave at any time', and asks whether, in that case, ho would bo allowed to lease or soil his house 1 before ho had resided there two yoars.It was resolved that a suitable applicant would he considered. Mrs. A. M. Burney, lessee of Sections 1 and 2, Block XIX, Oliaknne Y. 8., wrote 1 that she had signed a transfer to a Mr. Allsworth in December last, but as it hao not been proceeded with she asked for six months further time to transfer to someone eke—lt was resolved that, as she had bad twelve months in which to find a transferee she should now relinquish her interest in the section, when it could bo i loaded with the value of her improve- ' inent-3. Messrs. Arrowsmitli and Loucbnan, solicitors, of Taihape. wrote arno.iliiig against i the board's decision to forfeit Mr. T. Bason's interest, in Lot 1. of Section 75, , Taihape V.S., for noncompliance with the residential conditions.—Action postponed. Mr. S. J. Cuff, lessee of Section 2. Block I in.
