SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. ."JVrOTICE is hereby given that at a ■l-i Spceial Mcding of Iho Miriiirmr 'Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers (King's Chamber?. Willis Street, in the Citv of Wellington) on the fitli day of July, lillt, it was resolved:— In pursuance and exercise of the pow. ers vested in it in that behalf by "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1!)0S, ' "The Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1905," "The l/>eal Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 100S," and "Tho Wellington Harboiii- Board Reclamation and - Empowering Act, 1008," and all other Acts, powers, or authorities (if any) vesled in it or in any wise enabling it" in that behalf, tile Miramar Botough Council doth hereby resolve (by Special Order) as follows:— "That for the purpose of providing tho interest and other charges on a Special Loan of .L'sooo authorised to bo rai'ed by the Miromar Borough Council under the provisions of 'The Ijoeal Bodies' Loans Act, I'JOS,' for the purpose of contributing towards the co-t of the Miramar Wharf and Roadworks as provided by 'The AVellinglon Harbour Board Reclamation and Empowering Act, IMS," the taid Miramar Borough Council hereby makes and levies a. Special Rate of one-eighth of a penny fid.) ill tho J! upon the rateable valuo (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Miramar comprising the wliolf of the said Borough of Miramar and that .such Spccial Rale shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such lean and be payable half-year-ly on the Ist day of June and the Ist day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of 2G years from the Ist day of June, 1911, or until the loan is fully paid oil'." The above resolution will be submitted for continuation at a Special Meeting of the Council to lie held on FRIDAY, tho 4th day of August. 1911. at 12.M p.m. at the Council Chambers (King's Chambers, Willis Street, Wellington., aforesaid).
