SEAMEN'S STRIKE.
EXTENSION THREATENED. ENTIRE STOPPAGE OF WORK SOUGHT. By Telegraph—Press AEsoclallon-OopyrlKto (Rec. July 20, 9.30 p.m.) London, July 20. Mr. Haveloek Wilson, bead of tlto Sea, men's Union, is in Cardiff. Ho deplores tho riots and has urged the men to bchavo properly. He contends that tho only way to bring tho Shipping Federation to its senses is by nn absolute stoppage of work on tho Bristol Channel and tho North-East Coast. Mr. Wilson also added that unices a conference was summoned this week 50,000 men in London would strike oil Monday. The transport workers and dockers at Nowport have struck in sympathy with tho men at C'nrdiff. Tho coal trimmers at Barry declino to work aboard vessels where tho seamen are paid below tho rccogjiiscd rate.
