Tlio Hon. J. D. Ormond and Mr. G. P, Donnelly left Hastings yesterday morning for Wellington.
The Hon. D. Buddo went to Christchurch last evening. He returns to Wei lington to-morrow' morning.
Tho Anglican Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Sprotl) will conduct his iirst ordination to-morrow at St. Peter's Church, Willis Street, at 11 a.m., when tho liev. C. CI. Mutter, Licentiate in Theology of the University of Durham and of St. Augustine's College, Canterbury, England, will be raised to tho priesthood. Tlio I!ov. A. M. Johnson, vicar of St. Mark's, one of the Bishop's examining chaplains, will preach.
Mr. Gerard Trubshaw, of London, who is visitinn Wellington, leaves oh a trip over the West Coait tourist route to-day.

Mr. James llazlitt, stago director of "Tim Whip" Company, left for Sydney l>v tin, Moana yesterday. The company will pass through Wellington cn route to Sydney on Friday next. Mr. G. E., Porter, who until _ recently was associated with the advertising department of Tin; Dominion*, is leaving Auckland on July 18 by tho s.s. Atua ior Svdney, via Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji. Later Mr. Porter intends to return to Wellington. The Rev. W. Raine, from Masterton, is now in chargc of the St. Peter's Mission in Tarnnaki Street, and Mr. W. 11. Walton, the evangelist, who has worked there for some years past, lias gone to work in Kilbirnie. Musical people of Wellington will regret to hear that Miss Kate Moloney, who lias bfcen indisposed for some little time, has been obliged to take 0. holiday. Sho left, for Dunedin 011 Thursday evening, where sho will remain for souio time.
