A YOUTHFUL GRANDMOTHER.

Attention is drawn by the "Jewish Chronicle" to the existence in the city 'si Copenhagen of a unique Jewish family, consisting of five generations—great-great-grandmother, great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, and daughter. This has been prrluced by a series of early marriages, tno eldest child of which has been a daughter in each case. The oldest link in the chain, Mrs. Levysohn, is only in her eighty-first year. She has five children, among them Mrs.Solomousen, married to a well-known broker. This latter lady may claim to bo Europe's youngest great-grandmother, as she is still a long way off the threescore mark. Her eldest daughter, Mrs. Albert Meyer, the wife of a large paper merchant," is a young and charming grandmother. Her eldest daughter, Mrs. Hugo Trier, also a merchant's wife, and the mother of the fifth generation, is barely eighteen. Her child is a healthy little girl, who still has an opportunity of beating the record.
